Sour cherries, raspberries, forest floor and moss on the nose, cool red fruit on the palate, fresh, decent wood, Slightly spicy, Perhaps I should have decanted it for longer. I miss the elegance of the Centgrafenberg.

Dark color for a Pinot Noir. A very complex nose, vanilla, quality oak, herbs (thyme/sage?), red fruit and floral notes. The palate so elegant, fresh, yet full bodied (certainly for Pinot). Medium acidity, medium tannins, mineralic, great balance. Much better after 7 hours in the decanter so I think there is still upside and definetely recommend a long decant at this stage. 92+

Überreife frucht

Dark seductive sweet forest fruits with a good dash of hoisin sauce, along with a touch of forest floor. Super Pinot and a great price. Plenty of structure to age without being so structured as to be unapproachable young (aka Burgundy). Long finish with some complexity. Drink now and over the next 10 to 15 years.
