Nice nose of strawberry, twigs, and spice. Medium bodied, dusty cherries, herbs, juicy rhubarb, sweet tannins, good acid, and medium-plus, tart cherry finish. Probably as good as its going to get, so drink up.

Amazing perfume on the nose. Oak has integrated nicely compared to previous tastings. Dark fruit, cherry, integrated tannins and oak, soft acid. Was not a fan on this on release (too much oak) but this wine has really come to together with 5 years of bottle age. Has a long life ahead of it.

I had short expectations, but this was darn good and enjoyed by all. Deep Pinot, with dark fruit, spice and balanced acidity. A hint of sassafras too. Definitely exceeded my expectations.

The fruit is more balanced with the rest of the wine now. Decant carefully. A pleasure to drink. Good acidity and interest beyond the fruit. Length is shorter than the last bottle but still a high QPR. Drink now

This has picked up more heft and interest in the bottle. Now it's still gritty, but more expressive of earth and mushroom alongside the bright red fruit. Damn tasty.

Mountains, not just for Cabernet! Perched high atop mount Gungabunga rising above the cloudline in the Mendocinos is Signal Ridge. The Pinots they make are bursting with an energetic zing of acidity and an ethereal fruit profile.

Recommend decant for 1-2 hrs before enjoying slightly cooler than room temp. Ripe fruit balanced with baking spices and mild black tea notes. It was a bit disjointed for 30-60 minutes after open but that is probably due to youth. This probably will do well in about five years if you can wait.

Red fruits are predominant on the palate - strawberry, raspberry and a bit of rhubarb - with a bitter green herbal note that arrives on the finish. Medium- bodied with very fine tannins. Well balanced and drinks easily. A bit of time in the bottle has improved this wine. Quite tasty.

A Berserker Day purchase. Light purple in color. On the nose I got strawberry, red berries and some cherry. On the palate I got red berries and a hint of oak. Slight tannins and a little acidity. Very short finish. Not really my style of Pinot. The second day it was dead to the nose and palate.

In the glass the wine appears slightly cloudy and listless. The nose is quite the opposite, bursting with pleasant red fruits and herbs. The palate reveals copious amounts of tart red fruits with a faint herbal component. There's plenty of acid and some bitterness in the finish. Definitely new world stylistically with a good sense of place; it's a fine wine, but I preferred the Carignan.

PnP on the 23rd. Realized my sensors are kind of blocked, so put the repour in to give it a test run. Nonetheless I'm getting some herbs, dark red fruit plus raspberry, and a spicy note. We'll check back in a few days. 3 days later. Repoured and on the counter, where the days were also pretty warm. No worse for the wear, that's for sure. Not a hint of oxidation.
