Château Ferran Saint-Pierre Tucaou Blanc

Almost too much oak for my preference, but I also realize that's where much of the character and complexity of this wine comes from. And compared to a year ago, it has an extra layer or two of flavor that lingers among the upper palate and olfactory bulbs long after a swallow. I think any fans of Chardonnay with oak will will find this a pleasant substitute.

Clear and bright pale gold color. Medium+ intensity nose of beeswax, toasty oak, and powdered donut. Juicy and fruity palate and luckily, the oak isn't too dominant. Good acidity, average persistence, and a medium length finish. Very nice now, I think there may be upside with more cellar time. 5+11+17+8= 91
