Weinrieder Riesling Bockgärten

Shimmery golden colour. NOSE: closed, faint white flowers but not giving anything away. PALATE: lime, orange blossom, lovely oily mouthfeel but very well balanced acidity. lightly fizzy on tongue; residual white pepper finish. A lively wine, pleasure to drink. Opened an hour before drinking. Enjoyed with a spring vegetable and smoky pork sausage casserole with wild garlic leaves. The wine stood up well to bold flavours; a good mirror.
