I was given this bottle a few years ago and finally decided the time might be right to sample it. My palate is not educated enough to comment on the wines nose and tasting tones, but as a Bordeaux I expected a much richer wine. This product at 11 years of age is amazingly light, perhaps more akin to a Petit Syrah. Pleasant enough to drink, but don't picture a Bordeaux if you decide to sample this one.

pretty, ripe, oaky nose. tasty, a bit simple, oaky. slightly bitter finish. 88-89
