Very modern. Intense nosefeel from acidity and minerals. Heavy oak, vanilla after one minute. Keeps developing for some days. Fresh acidity. Good.

Formerly known (until 2019) as Chardonnay II, but still VDP Gutswein. Regarding the previous vintage 2020 I wrote last year: "Wonderful Chardonnay and a bit different than expected. Even though vinification and maturation took place in wood barrels, no typical butter or vanilla notes were present. It was rather subtle in the background, providing some depth.
