Gurdau vinařství Grüner Veltliner Vyber z bobuli

Medium yellow, quite clear. Matchstick hits the nose - a bit too much interference for me. Unfortunately followed by a damp basement / canal tint in taste. I’m giving the benefit of the doubt here, hoping this is intentional. Palate not overshadowed: smooth, not too light or empty for a Veltliner. Some chalky minerality. Aftertaste brings out a hint of stone fruits, possibly with a metallic hint. 87 pts, by glass under argon.
