Decadently Ripe black fruit, some dried plum. Clove, dried orange zest. Good acidity, and full body for PN.

2014 vintage

A great bottle and my last of this vintage. Nose smelled like the ocean. A little acidic on the backend which knocked the score a bit. On the mid palate, a wonderful bottle of Sonoma Coast Pinot with cola, spice box, and a hint of cherry. Really enjoyed it. Onward to the 15 vintage.

Almost six years old and very berry and acidic. However, second day of breathing made the whole difference!

More focus than the more expensive reserve wines at Landmark, offering elegant strawberries, flowers, and black licorice; dark raspberries and vanilla. Even better day two.

Excellent Pinot Noir. Bright ruby red with good viscosity. Effusive cherry fruit in the nose with a hint of cola. Beautifully balanced in the mouth, silky and sleek but with plenty of grip and rich cherry flavor. The $28 price tag makes it a screaming bargain. 4-13-17-8: 92/100.

A little earthy on the nose - hints of blackberry but not too fruity. Could use another year in the bottle.

Super smooth and balanced. Blueberry and bergamot. Oak is not perceivable, but the wine has structure.

Not overly fruity with a taste of butter. Not as complex as I recall and look forward to comparison against other Landmark pinots. A good wine but think richer pinots can be found at this price point.

Sweet raspberry and blueberry jam, with smoky tones. Real potential, but not ready to drink IMHO. I'm putting the balance of my purchase away for 2 years.

Thyme, rosemary, rose petals, strawberry pie and smoke. A nice blend of fruity composure and dried herbs. A medium finish that is loaded with spice. Focused. Drink now - 2019.

Root beer, sassafras, cherry and river rock. Sultry and paradoxically masculine. Definition and a proper amount of stuffing, then the long finish shows so much elegance. Depth and beauty, please decant or wait. Drink 2016 - 2022.

PnP. Dark red in the glass. Nose of dark ripe red fruit, candied fruit, cola, baking spice. On the palate more sweet dark red fruit followed by tart cherry, sour cherry, heat and acidity. Medium weight. Short boring finish.

Medium cranberry. Good legs. Flowery; crushed rose. Nice varietal fruit, with black cherry. More ponderous than I remember. Plump, candied. Somewhat short on the finish. 4-11-15-7: 87/100.

Medium-dark cranberry. Has a lovely aroma of crushed roses and cherries. Fine varietal fruit in the mouth, very pretty with a great fruit-acid balance. Harmonious. Better even than at the winery. Medium body yet seems rich. Nice finish. 4-12-17-9: 92/100.
