Re-upping my prior note. This is big on honeysuckle, white pepper, sweet tropical fruits and fennel. Previously I said late 2017-late 2018 would be ideal but it's developed quicker than I anticipated. Still benefits from 30+ minute decant but I'm not sure it needs more time on its side. Quite good.

Seductively harmonious bouquet of white peach, spring flowers, and carambola. Suave and elegant texture, like a still mountain lake at dawn. Layered finish of very good length.

Nose: mildly aromatic with vanilla and lemon custards, spruce, fennel, wet asphalt and pine. Palate: medium body, creamy and just a touch sweet with a really nice amount of acidity that keeps it from becoming cloying. Big lemon, vanilla, honey suckle and white pepper. Straw and nice streaks of lime stone and slate. With extended air time a nervous tension emerges that tickles the palate and demands attention. Finish: it stays really bright and creamy, and petrol joins the party. …

This wine held up pretty well. I was a little nervous that it might be over the hill, however, it delighted with remarkable freshness. Maybe the screw cap kept it from any notable oxidation and maybe it was restrained winemaking. In any case, this had lovely fresh white flower nose and just enough body and roundness to hit the spot for me. I'm not a big Viognier fan but enjoyed this one quite a bit. Nice floral and stone fruit notes leads to medium bodied palate of crisp peachy fruit without the cloying richness/sweetness/softness that often represents Viognier outside of Condrieu. Good but overpriced at $27.

A really good and somewhat sweet very typical viognier enjoyed recently in the NC mountains with good CT wine buddy neighborbill. Slightly too sweet for my taste which for me dropped the score a point or two, otherwise a really excellent and versatile white wine. A good QPR at this price point and I definitely recommend this wine. Soft, balanced, medium bodied, quite delicious and both acidic and fruit forward enough for a couple more years of cellaring. Aromatic nose …

Nose of cantaloupe, ripe red apple, pear, and flowers. Similar flavors on the palate. Slightly spritzy. Terrific concentration, mouthfeel, and finish. Good acidity. Very delicious. Would buy again.

Nice level of acid, not hot. Had with a pesto chicken dish- excellent paring. Not overpowering floral aroma, nice balance.

Nice! Distinctive creamy Honeydew Mellon on the nose with the floral and mineral aspect from viognier without the sometimes hot aspects. Love the wine, it is however quite large in style.

Light yellow in color. Elegant with flavors of pear and almond. Lean and austere but wonderful flavors and crispness. Some stone and honeysuckle with white pepper. Creamy with a bit of oil on the nice finish.
