This is drinking beautifully now...well integrated tannins. Complex multi layered fruits with predominance of blackberry. Medium to full with a velvety smooth texture. Well worth waiting 13 years.

14% alc; Deep red-black colour with aromas of dried herbs, ripe blackcurrant, warm plum slices and dark (70%) chocolate. The entry feels quite Bordeaux-like with herbs, black fruit, and lemon acidity. More full-bodied, though, with a weighty mid-palate and sweetness to the tannins that is a tell for New World. Quite round with richness to the texture and plenty of spicy oak. The tannins feel gently grippy yet foursquare and build slightly to the finish. Good wine, perhaps not quite …
