This could be the world’s most delicious lime juice. Wonderful balance, emphatic, light, delicate and flavorful. How do they do it? Wonderful texture and balance. Still a long road to go to get to profound though.

This is far, far too young to drink with abandon now - the demure nose of tarte au citron, cream, lanolin, smoke, and mineral seems to be just biding its time, offering the suggestion of many great things ahead. Big wine in the mouth, but well balanced and long. Don't drink these soon. Maybe start in 2025, maybe later. 95+

With a depth of flavor, you find multiple layers of juicy, fresh, pomelo, green apple, honeysuckle, crushed rocks and ripe pears. It is hard to say if it is the purity, length, complexity or richness which knocks me out the most. The wine impossibly hard to find, and incredibly expensive, but for wine lovers without a budget, this is the equal of just about any great white wine in the world.

Feeling Pessac-Léognan pizzaz, appreciating dry extract #bdx15: whites and reds (Bordeaux, actually tasted during en primeur week) : More Sauvignon Blanc in the blend than typical (69%) because rain adversely affected some Semillon plots used to make the grand vin. Very racy Sauvignon Blanc. Initially a bit closed on the nose but then reveals a variety of aromatics, ranging from key lime pie to white fruits, pear and white peach. A melange of fresh squeezed citrus, flowers, lemon curd, honeysuckle and rocks are right where they need to be. Incredibly fresh, vibrant, lively and richly textured, the bright yellow fruits in the end really stand out. The wine was made from a blend of 69% Sauvignon Blanc and 31% Semillon. The wine reached 14.3% alcohol with a pH of 3.14. The harvest took place between August 28 and September 7.
