Le Caveau Bugiste Bugey Cuvée Tradition

It was good to see how this wine evolved over a few years. Comparing with my first note, I would say that the acidity rounded out into a more mellow presence on the palate and, similarly, the red fruits gained more 'bottom', more ripeness. An interesting wine that I would enjoy buying again in subsequent vintages.

This wine is light and tasty, what my friend P.-G. deems a wine to serve at lunch when you plan to do serious work in the afternoon! Light red in the glass, good acid, a touch of perhaps cedar and salinity with strawberry, red raspberry, and currant on the palate.
