Black cherry, black fruits, eucalyptus, menthol and herbs. St 19 years old, this is incredibly refined and still youthful! Bordeaux inspired, this shows the pedigree of this historic vineyard, sadly which was sold to Lokoya a number of years ago, so the price for juice from Yverdon vineyard is now triple the price. If you can find Terra Valentine Yverdon Vineuard bottlings, grab them! Absolutely beautiful wine.

This must be one of my favorites of all time as it is fifteenth bottle I have had. Still holding up well and drinking fabulously right now. Will stand by my comments that this is a wine that doesn’t need a pairing. Great wine to sip, savor and share. Soft delicious and aging gracefully. Wish I had more.

This was an exceptional bottle of wine. Agree with other reviewer that this wine can be enjoyed as a stand alone or paired with food. The wine is soft and balanced. It's at its peak and drinking perfectly. Enjoy.

Still drinking nice. Soft, delicate and has to be one of my favorites over the years.

Very attractive red-plum color. Unusual, herbal nose. Lots of jammy fruit—blackberry, currant--on entry. As the wine passes back I get an interesting chalky sensation—mouthfeel sensation, not flavor. This is, probably, Spring Mountain tannin. Fortunately, the fruitiness dissipates as the wine move towards the back of the mouth where I get more nice, neutral sensations.

Consistent notes with previous 3 tasters, still vibrant...dried red fruit, leather, cooked cherry, integrated tannin

Plenty of life left in this. Still a beautiful wine with power.

Quite elegant and restrained. Holding up well, with plenty of fresh red fruits and leather. Popped and poured without much contemplation-darn

At 12 years old this wine is still beautiful. Restrained upon opening but really blossomed over a 2 hour decant before dinner. Dark fruits and tobacco that Segway to cherry cola, earth, and chocolate covered cherries. Tremendous single vineyard Cabernet from Spring Mountain!

Very dark red color. PNP, drank 2 glasses over 1.5 hours. I gotta say I wasn't expecting much from this when I pulled it out thinking it was time to drink it up. But, I was very pleasantly surprised. This was so much better than when I had it 4 years ago, it was night and day. This bottle showed that great mountain fruit, cassis, creme de cassis, boysenberry, mint, cacao bean, cedar, graphite on the nose. The palate has …

Excellent wine! Drinking very well right now and yet, don't think it is at it's peak. Would drink within the next year or two. You will not be disappointed. Lots of flavor, perfect balance.

Last of 3 tasted over 4 years. Tannins have are fully integrated. Dark fruits, cassis, mocha, sense of oak is mostly gone. Enjoyable.

Dropped into a decanter, finished 4 hours later. Dark fruits, cassis, leather, a little graphite. Tannins have tamed, mid-level acids up front. This is drinking well on a cold winters night. Not terribly complex but enjoyable from someone who doesn't drink a lot of cabs.

Acidity is intense and tannins are coarse - needs another year or two. UPDATE: 06/25/2016 - this wine is beginning to hit its stride with the tannins now integrated but the acidity is still a little problematic. 89-90 at this point. Maybe in 2017-2018? UPDATE: 06/30/2016 - still needs time...

A little oak. A little dark cherry. After and hour it's got a phenomenal finish. Well balanced.

Very dark red/purple color. Decanted for 1 hour. Drank 2 glasses over 2+ hours. Nose of crème de cassis,, mulberry, dried herbs, and spice, vanilla, and licorice. On opening prior to decant this had a green stemminess that did resolve after the decant. The palate is full bodied, cassis, oak, spice, alcohol, black licorice, medium tannins and a slightly bitter finish.
