Quite rich in character for a Chablis. Could have easily mistaken this for cool climate New World, thus drank well with oriental fish based menu.

Really in a sweet spot right now. Bright pear citrus fruit, some racy acidity and clean finish. Best example yet

Nice wine: clean and crisp with green apple and citrus flavours.

Great price point for a superlative Chablis, fragrant, well structured, with a slightly honeyed finish.

P/w slight chill. Clear, light straw. Nice fruity nose which drank well. Still plenty of good fruit, balanced, nice acid, clean, steel, muted citrus. Refreshing, lighter body and perfect for hot weather. Nothing off. Good value, $22.

Just a tad too old? Missing the zest I found in the bottles before; still fresh anf enjoyable.

Very fresh white grape flavors. Very easy drinking, not overly crisp, but very nice.

Plastic cork, quite stuck it there... Pale straw, fairly light, crisp, pleasant and easy without a ton of bright fruit.

Once again (see my previous notes) (nearly) as good as the previous bottle.

I bought a carton of 6 at Olivier on my trip to the Côte d'Azur and I enjoyed some bottles there. Fabulous wine somewhat common in style with Dauvissat. See my previous notes.

drinking well now - citrus and apple with very little oak - very nice but a bit underwhelming; the plastic cork required two different corkscrews to open it...

Just sensational. Weird plastic/air filled cork, but the wine is exuberant. Plenty of acid and mineral. The acid shows in the form of lime and is mixed with guava and a bit of lychee. This is apparent on the nose, but very delicate and elegant. Best white Burg at 12%ABV for 2009 and just $22. I will seek out more soon. Greatly complimented shrimp scampi.

Sensational, really, everything in balance. So smooth, so lively, so fresh, so precise, you want to sip this wine on and on.

Wildman 2009 Burg Tour (Boston) : Bright, clean aromatics. Intense. Almost piercing. Bright Chablis. Good. 88-90 ($25)

2009 Burgundy from Frederick Wildman: Faiveley, Jacques Prieur, Christian Moreau, Olivier Leflaive (Clift Hotel, San Francisco, California) : Pale, green-tinged yellow color; oak, lime, citrus nose; simple but tasty, light citrus palate; short-medium finish

Indeed a fantastic wine; from start to finish it shows precision. Freshness and body go hand in hand. No signs of decay. I still have two or three bottles to retaste this unbelievable effort of Olivier Leflaive.

Clear with just a tad of light hay like yellow color, and a sharp full nose of fruit that yielded a full mouth feel that was crisp and bright with flavor. Enough acid to balance with sauteed Tiger Shrimp and foil an accompanied rich mushroom risotto. A nice surprise...
