Did not like this one. Used for cooking on two occasions and it was fine for that.

Lovely from the first taste on removing the cork. Depth and nice finish. No legs in the glass but tastes fuller than it looks.

a mild, small, nicely balanced chianti, nice quaffing for modest food, mild finish, low in that cherry bite ... recommended for those leery of the type

Popped and poured with pasta. Worked well with no flaws, nice fruit and good acidity. Finished well. Would buy again.

Red ruby hue with a nose of red cherry, strawberry fruit leather, herbs and dried tobacco with a floral undertone. Lively acidity and dusty tannins on the palate with notes of red fruit, tomato stalk and cocoa nibs.

Good with food, otherwise a bit tart/sour and one dimensional, get what you pay for, and would upgrade a tier to CCR vs. CC.

Overly dry, with a slight vinegar aroma upon opening; fruit too faint too redeem the overly acidic finish, which almost completely obscured the desirable 'leather' quality that comes with a fine Chianti. Cannot recommend.

Transparent ruby red. Sour cherries, plums, vanilla oak. Dry, medium body. Tannins are still strong, high acidity. Long finish. Good Chianti. Best years ahead.

Serviceable Chianti. Red fruited and fresh. Bit of reduction on the nose. No real depth.

Clear, light red. Touch of wood, but mostly red fruit. Bright acidity, just enough tannin. Very enjoyable. Day 2 still flavorful and well-structured. Finishes strong.

Agree with some of the other review. Not much to this one. Light wine, not a lot of structure. Would pass in the future. I like Monsanto much better.

Give this wine AT LEAST one hour to sit in a decanter. We almost threw away the first bottle after drinking immediately; glad we waited a while to let it open. Later that week, we let our second bottle sit almost two hours. It's not a great wine, but works very well for pizza or other quick Italian dishes. On the lighter side. Did not strike us a a wine that would be a whole lot better with age, so …

Excellent QPR. Went in with no expectations and pleasantly surprised - PnP. Solid body and length. Healthy red fruit, hint of currant. Medium acidity. Wonder if bottle variation is heavy given the variety of notes, experiences. Recommended+ because of the QPR.

Begins with some reduced notes, moves to a good mixture of various sous bois aromas, and then recovers pretty well on the medium-bodied palate. Classic build, with more simply-styled aromas and flavors. If it were served on an airline, with a meal, I'd drink it; for sale in a store or restaurant, no way. ~ 75k bottles produced. On its best day, (87-89) ; this bottle, anyway. Drink now thru 2025. https://www.italianwinereviews.com

Fantastic value. Decanted an hour. This is open and so drinkable. Smooth and balanced with a long finish showing notes of sweet red cherry and orange peal notes, leaving just a hint of lingering bitterness. Tannins are well integrated and the oak is so subtle, with just a hint on the nose and finish. Lovely Chianti. Drink now-2023.
