Château Tour des Gendres Bergerac Cantalouette

Light body, dark garnet to purple colour. Elegant dark fruits, leathery and earthy aroma. Black currant and plum palate, not tangible tannin and gentle acidity on finish. Simple and unimpressive wine but soft and easy drinking. Drank with pasta. Open 3 hours ahead. Serve 14ºC - 18ºC. Drink now and next couple of years.

dark purple, cear colour with amaranth/violet rim; good intensity. nose: red cherries, plums, sweetrr blueberries; floral notes - iris, violets. good. taste: medium (+) acidity; fruity - red and black cherries - crisp; plums with stones; medium (+) sandy tannins; medium body; juicy, medium (+) finish.
