Nose: Blackcurrant, earth, leather, cedar, plum, oak, vanilla, Palate is relatively ripe and modern, blackcurrant, leather, earth.

A good dose of fruit and some bricking on the rim. Light nose and soft mouth feel...which made for good enjoyable drinking...but it lacked punch due to the softness of the tannin and low acidity. Still a good drop.

this has plenty of fruit on the nose and taste. medium light body though. not sensing this has had any contact with oak though. drinking well now. don't wait because this will be past peak soon. wondering what the 2003 vintage taste like....
