Popped and poured, but consumed over 3 hours. Dark purple-red in colour with good initial fruit on the nose. Became much more subdued, however. Surprisingly tannic on the palate for a nearly 15-year-old Cab. Certainly needs food alongside to enjoy this masculine, brooding wine.
