Spaetrot Zierfandler Beerenauslese Gebeshuber

Pink-amber in colour. Pronounced nose of yellow plums, raisins, apple sauce, grape, blood orange and honey. Wonderfully acidic and not too sweet (medium, at best). The palate shows notes of brandied cherry, wood varnish, leather and dried orange. It’s almost like a low-alcohol Madeira. Slightly past it but an interesting wine.
