An almost wine-like bouquet, or perhaps that of a port aged in bourbon barrels. Tonight this is coming through as more boozy than I recall from two years ago, lighter in body (a medium-full as opposed to a full body), and exhibiting less molasses. This stuff is harder to get than a Schrader Cab! This bruiser clocks in at 14% (as opposed to 13% for 2013) but you still can't tell there's any alcohol anywhere until you're about half-way through the bottle and it hits you - whoa.
