Fragrances of vanilla, blueberry, boysenberry. Quite nice. Tastes of raspberry, blueberry, and boysenberry. Medium tannins. Medium finish. Drinking quite well now.

The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like cherry and rose.

I am trying this on the 2nd night of opening a bottle, the wine has softened, and I get a smooth forward pallet of cola (yup I said that) with soft tones of cherry and a little hint of coffee in the finish. Not quite a textbook Merlot and does not have the forwardness of a Cab S either, At this price, around $18, it's one hell of a buy and good everyday drinking wine.

very nice merlot. nice body and mouthfeel. nose is fruity, palate is also dark berry, some oak but rounded out with some acidity. great deal at costco when on sale, should've picked up more

This is a well made wine has a good structure, and body. The fruit is recessed right now and may get better with some time. The alcohol is 14.5% so maybe that is influencing my palate. I picked this up at Costco on sale and will buy more. At full retail the price is fair for the effort but not something I would buy again. This wine with just a bit more fruit concentration would be outstanding.

Wine & Whiskers 2016, nose of black cherry, blackberry, and plum, same on the palate, medium/big body, good acid, needs 2 years to peak, tasty but not fruit forward, touch of harsh tannins on the mid palate, fairly mouth filling fruit, medium/long finish

Deep plum appearance. Rich black fruit aromas. Sweet, fleshy, and extremely smooth on the palate. Good concentration of black and dried currants, cherries, chocolate, and spice, closing with crushed rocks on the extended finish. Solid.

From a glass off a restaurant's list. Aromas of cherries and cocoa. Simple and solid berry and chocolate flavors. Impressively smooth body. A very good wine and even more amazing since they probably make this stuff by the tanker load.

Very good. Deep purple color. Thin legs. Cedar, oak on the nose. Soft cherry flavor. Lush and pleasing. Stood up well to our spicy "bone suckin' sauce.". Borders on "Delicious."

Tasted during Dry Creek Passport weekend. This wine stood out among those we tasted at Ferrari Carano. Excellent representation of the varietal, a little young, but should not have to lay down more than a year. If you can't wait, just let it breath for an hour.
