Monti Langhe Dossi Rossi

Everything is very mild , floral/herbal with accent on pine nuts/bree. Tannins resolved. A bit too much acidity for my taste but all together a very clean and fresh wine. With food acidity goes away. To me this is what a good old Italian feels like. This would rival a good 25y/o Bordeaux.

I think we brought this home from Italy for approx $25, plus shipping. Given the price point, i'd go 91 simply b/c it had great fruit and quite mild tannins, if any, but also huge body and some wood. A refreshing change from CA wines, and much better than most of the euro stuff.
