After dinner drink. This has been open for 5 days. Pretty good still. Fruit balanced with other flavors. Nice length and medium body!

W roast chicken in jackson on first night. This is really good. Very burgundian with good tannins and fruit that work together. Probably needs a few more yrs to develop. As website and previous note says � the longer this is open the better it gets�. Lets see if we can keep some for tomorrow.

Fairly classic Oregon pinot. Black cherry, a hint of strawberry, some spiciness (savoury, not peppery) and floral notes around the edge. Decent tannins that mellowed as the night progressed. Fairly high acidity making this an excellent food wine. Even better on day 2. I think this wine will continue to improve for a few more years, then have a nice long plateau.
