Decent balance, not acidic. Floral and fruity. It was a bit too sweet for my taste.

This is the first sparkling wine I have ever had that was not only an undrinkable by itself, but it actually made cocktails taste worse. This is the lowest form of sparkling wine produced in France, a vin mousseux . This is such a terrible one that I would actually recommend a Prosecco, which I view to be one of the most interior sparkling wine on the market over this particular bottle. Le garbage!

Tastes like a “natural” wine with all the sour notes.

Crisp, light, fine bubbles that don't last particularly long. Not the most aromatic or flavorful, but a serviceable bubbly on a hot day. Wouldn't repurchase, but perfectly fine to sip before heading out for a night out. Beautiful label tho.

Wouldn’t buy again. Bubbles dissipate quickly.

I was underwhelmed. Not bad if you use as a base for mimosas or kir royals but as a stand-alone I would rather pay up or down....

Good body, small bubbles, well balanced, some fruit but pleasant level, worth buying. Perfect as a aperitif, with fish, pasta with olive oil or white sauce, terrines.

Not much too this. Clean can go with anything but not very dry for a brut.

I enjoyed this significantly more than the rose' for the simple reason that it actually has a bit of balance to the elements. Good mousse, very light straw color. Clean nose of honeydew and a bit of pear. Short and a little sweet, but easy enough to drink on a warm day by the pool. 4+10+14+7= 85

very good for the price and just right on the sweetness/sourness scale.

Sparkling Wine Tasting (San Diego Wine Co.) : Typically, 11.5% ABV, 10 gr/L R.S., & 3.3 pH N: BARNYRD to the pt of being downright "poopy", borderline off-putting, though it DID blow off somewhat; [Note: I virtually NEVER complain 'bout Brett in these t/ns.] P: Med body; RNDISH entry with SWTISH frt (threshold R.S.) VERY nicely counterbalanced by an acidity which slowly transitions into a LONG, slightly tangy, very, VERY slightly bitter finish. Needs food, IMHO. My VG+ is pretty …

Pale yellow color wine with an unpleasant grapey bouquet and flavor, with a hint of sweetness. Not much more to say, although others said much more, and even found something likable in the wine. I could say "De gustibus non est disputandum," but then what would be the point of writing a tasting note?

Pale straw color. Smells of under-ripe green grapes, some chalk dust, bitter lemon and grapefruit pith. Tart and zesty on the palate with some white cherry, sour green apple and a cut floral stem note. Quite sharp, a bit too much bitter lemon and austerity for my palate. A blend of Chardonnay, Ugni Blanc, Colombard and Chenin Blanc.

Nose - Apple. Palate - Apple, taste fresh, good pop of acidity, balanced sweetness, tastes ripe, medium minus. Bubbles really emerge once reaches palate. It's OK, drinkable but not something that I will remember as a standout. Sparkling is not typically my category. It's not overly sweet or very yeast heavy, which are flavor qualities I don't enjoy. the best part for me is that I feel like it's not overly bubbly but in your mouth it kind of explodes …

Man, the aroma is like liquid lemon cake with a backdrop of graphite and honey blossom. The palate is full, creamy, and frosty, with a small bead, green apples, a little river rock action, and a racy finish. Not bad.

A lot going on here. Drinks like a Cremant de Limoux. Intensely creamy, medium to medium plus acid, vibrant, tangy and zippy finish. Interesting.

You know, for an airline bubbly, you can't beat it with a fucking stick. It's totally drinkable! Crisp and clean and refreshing. The aftertaste reminds you JUST a little bit that this ain't your usual standard, but it doesn't kick you in the gag reflex like Barefoot either. Light, sweet nose; dry Apple-dusted palate, medium bubbles with plenty of zip in them. Fly Virgin!!

I drank this on its own. Should have consumed it with mild food such as walleye or sweet water white bass. Slightly sweet, being Brut. I was underwhelmed and nonplussed. The bubbles are neither numerous nor small. The carbonation appears to be artificial, not traditional method. Would not buy it again. I paid $6 for the 187 ml split. Spend a little more and get a decent Cava. Overall value: 2 stars of 5.
