Well, I normally drink Bordeaux such as du Tertre and Giscours, but my wife wanted an Italian wine for the spaghetti Bol, I bought this for 2.99 from Lidl, not expecting much and had a Cos 2nd label 2015 as back up! I was even more doubtful after reading the other review. Tried it and it was a bit raw, but then I decanted it, in my oxygen machine that did an hours decant in 2 mins. What a difference, …

Dark reddish in color with a wide reddish rim. Red fruits on the nose and medium in body. Dry on the palate with high acidity. Showing red currants, tart cherries, cranberries and spices. Short and tart finish. This is just undrinkable for me. Unbalanced and tart. 12.5% alcohol by volume. 77 points.
