Wellington Vineyards Syrah England Crest

Dark purple, sediment in bottle, good finish, taste of cedar, oak and a hint of berries

Very fruit forward, lush wine.

The Wellington was very dark and had heavy sediment surrounding the aperature upon uncorking, so we decanted for a half hour before drinking with dinner. The wine had a nose of dark fruit and light, toasted oak. The taste had a bright and fruity front, with an impressionable, mouth-watering finish.
