Fruit seemingly drying out, nose with raisin, dry leaves, a hint of earth. With air some fresher cherry fruit and porcini mushrooms. Nice acidity and fine-grained tannins, but lacks concentration and length. Worked great with a primo of porcini risotto, fell through against a confit shoulder of wild boar, which highlighted the vanishing fruit.

The wine seemed to lack verve. Not much on the nose, not much on the palate either. Nice wine, but I'm not thrilled. Won't rate

Opened this up six hours before dinner. It was either not a very flavorable wine or needed a great deal more time -- maybe five years. Somewhat better with food but still not one I would buy again at this point.

Earthy. Light, good acidity, soft tannins, medium to long persistance. Already evolved, but has potential for a few more years.

Elegant. I will wait a few more months to open the next bottle.

. I think this is mostly Nebbiolo, and it shows in glimpses of leather, tar, and violet. But it's not very tannic, quite smooth in texture. Black cherry fruit, but seems to be holding quite a bit in reserve. Light hints of vanillin oak. Nice if restrained wine, drinks well on night 2. I like this now, but I think I'll like a lot more in 5-10 years. B/B+ with lots of upward potential.

Hints of new oak over classic nebbiolo notes. Medium to light taste, light tannins, not that intense or long. Elegant, refreshing and quite enjoyable anyway, but we expected more from this vineyard selection. Ready to drink now.
