Deep garner red colour. Licorice, intense dark fruits, quite a spicy nose that's maybe a tad hot. Drinking perfectly now, tannin is almost gone, given way to a long finish. Right in the zone, perhaps slightly unbalanced with the noticeable alcohol.

Trying the last of the 4 different Coates wines I recently bought before putting them down for a while. A nose or vanilla, black fruits and strawberry jam. Good acid and length on a palate of similar notes of black fruits, savory elements compliment the fruit. This should all come together nicely over the next five years.
