Tasting though some Greek wines. A blend of the indigenous grape Limnio and Merlot. Dark purple color. Nose of dark berries with a strong herbal touch not dissimilar to a Cabernet Franc dominated blend. Full bodied palate with good freshness. Alcohol in check as well with 13%, even Merlot from Bordeaux is usually above that, so a nice surprise that they pulled of such a low alcohol yet rich red from the very south of Europe. Not sure I agree with 'professional' review. Very Enjoyable and hints of cocoa for sure but at $30 versus a Coppola Merlot is not worth differential, IMO.
