The Bruery White Chocolate

Enjoyed this. Tasted along side the version with cherries which we preferred

Shared side-by-side with the 2012 vintage. The heat is what presents most of all, still boozy, but there's still plenty of wheatwine character and vanilla sweetness lurking underneath. Not as much cacao as I would have liked from a beer called White Chocolate, but with a little mellowing of the booze, this would be a spot-on dessert beer.

Quite outstanding for what it is (a white imperial ale with white chocolate notes and even some sour hints that make for an exquisite balancing act), and nowhere sweet -- impressive, really.
