First opening was all oak monster on the nose and pallate. opened up after 2 hours and the next day to very nice blackberry, cherry, and a little licorice on the finish.

Very good value at around $15, this wine retains good varietal characteristics and some distinct Napa pizzazz. High-toned plum, cherry and pomegranate aromas and flavors gain depth with a cedary, spicy finish. Nice grip in the tannins, but remains light on its feet. Food friendly.

An enjoyable non-special wine. Good cab character, both aroma and taste. Aerated prior to consumption based upon initial taste. Will benefit from a couple years of aging.
