This was tasting bigger than I had thought with previous bottles and is really tasting great right now. Lots of spice and fruit with a long finish. Loving it!

The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like black currant (cassis) and light toast. It tastes like black currant (cassis). The body is light/medium. The wine has leathery texture. The wine finishes short.

This is a surprisingly light zin, though it has really nice flavors. We are almost thinking it is a pinotesque zin. Flavors are of redfruit (raspberry? cherry? some sort of combo) and nice spice. Pepper shows up on the finish. This is a very pleasant wine even if not the chewy zin we think of coming from Wilson.
