White floral, pear, lime, and flinty aromas. Palate shows much of the same with pear, lime, crushed stone, chalk, and some grassy herbaceous notes. Very steely minerality, fresh and crisp with acidity dialed back a bit (medium +). Fun, easy drinking spring/summertime wine. Finishing the 2nd half of the bottle after 24hrs in the fridge under a RePour, it has turned very tropical. Yum.

Very nice offering from Bedrock, showing that they can do more than their outstanding Zins. This Sauvignon Blanc is crisp, nicely balanced, a bit minerally, with nice citrus notes.

This bottle was fuller and tastier than the previous one. That said, just enjoy it. It's well made and livelly. Excellent mouthfeel and aftertaste.

An outstanding SB from Bedrock. Light gold in the glass, flint and citrus on the nose. Beautiful balance of fruit and acidity with no grassy nuances. Lemon curd and minerality. The QPR is off the charts. A pleasure to drink. Kudos to Bedrock for this excellent effort.

PNP over 4th of July weekend! Yeast, orange peel & flint on nose. Crushed pineapple, Asian pear, tropical fruit, lemon curd and tangerine. Hint of flint lock & butter cookie on medium finish. Excellent QPR. Ideal summer juice!

100% Sauvignon Blanc from the Uboldi, Bedrock and Judge vineyards. A little warm at first but it improved as it chilled. Pale yellow color. Minerally with lemon and floral notes. Moderate acidity with a little tartness on the finish. 88 points.

This tastes better than a numerical rating can adequately describe. Tastes of classic SB flavors of white fruits such as pear, sweet apple, and subtle spices. Very clean and purity with excellent mouthfeel.

Rocky nose with layers of crushed stone, flint, floral grass, citrus and a subtle tropical lift on the deep inhale. Flavors are crisp, clean and focused with nice interplay of fruit and minerality woven throughout the palates life. Medium acidity plays nicely with the more delicate undertones of pineapple spears and papaya but never get punchy or amplify to the point that the delicate rocky herbal hints are washed out. Balanced and pleasant.

Great aromatics of ripe tropical fruits contrasted with white flowers and menthol. The palate delivers the tropical fruits with textural intensity and a vibrant mid-palate lift. There's plenty of energy and minerality entering the finish that refreshes you for another sip. My favorite iteration of the base Sauv Blanc to date, and this really highlights Bedrock's differences w/ other Cali Sauv Blancs. Musqué clone SB from Sonoma Valley. Med to med+ intensity aromas of melon, tropical fruit, lemon, wet stone. 70% fermented in neutral French & Austrian oak cigares & rest in tank, making the oak barely perceptible. Dry, clean & crisp, w/ med+ acidity and high but understated alcohol (14%). Med body, flavor intensity & length. Surprisingly not grassy, yet also not fat and flabby. More Loire-like than CA fume' blanc.

This is a very well made Sauvignon Blanc, and I still just can't get excited about it. It's not them, it's me. Eventually I will just stop trying to like SB.

14.1% abv. Recent auction purchase. I wasn't expecting much from this, but it turned out to be a real winner. On the heavier side of SB, but this was loaded with flavor and complexity. So much going on with this and overall, very pleasing. The wife enjoyed it, too.

Nice nose of green apple and celery. Good acidity, well balanced. Notes of apple, celery and lemon. Nice finish, wine should last a few more years.

Gorgeous SB. Expressive nose of grass, gooseberry, kiwi and citrus. Full bodied, unctuous and fresh, with a long herbal-grapefruit finish. As good as the Bedrock reds are, the whites are no slouch either, and this is a beauty. Thirst quenching and refreshing, exploding with a kaleidoscope of flavors.

I have tried and tried to give sauvignon blancs their due. However, other than some Loire Valley SBs, I guess these wines just do not appeal to me. A nice Sancerre...yes. But, anything from the US or NZ...no. Too acidic, lemony, grassy, grapefruity. I'm sure, given how much I love Bedrock, that this is a well-made wine, but it is not my style. Thus, I won't give it a numeric rating. I'll leave that to others who appreciate these wines …

2nd bottle, consistent experience to the first. Bright acidity and nose, but length isn't there on the palate. We enjoy NZ Sauv Blancs from time to time, and this reminds me of those aromatics but at a price point a few dollars higher. Enjoyed with a risotto with fresh peas from the farmers market, but wine was just 'nice'.

A lovely SB. The nose out performs the palate. Loads of citrus and grapefruit with a crisp finish. Bright and clean. It's wonderful with a "clear" palate but needs careful food pairing(s) if consuming with snacks or meals; nothing remotely sweet will work. For us, this is a "summer sipper" on a warm evening. Well made. Current CT community score of 90 is about right.

I enjoyed this more than the 2015. Bright citrus notes, along with some subtle oak. Better integrated than past vintages at this stage of life. A nice wine at a fair price.

A bit better than my last bottle, as this seemed a bit better integrated. Crisp, juicy mouthfeel. More true to the varietal, with just lovely citrus and herb notes.
