Seems almost exotic. Black cherry pie and leather with interesting spices swirling around it all. Fun and drinking well.

Consistent with prior note but seems to better integrated over the past year - hence the higher score. Drinking very well now.

Very good Amarone without the over-ripened & raisiny profiles of some Amarones. Must decant for 45 min to blow off the odd nose and taste on opening.

Light, soft but no real flavours. A good wine but perhaps a bit late.

A blend of Corvina Veronese and Corvinone (70%), Rondinella (25%) and Molinara (5%). The grapes are dried for 3-4 months, depending on the vintage and how quickly the grapes desiccate, after which the grapes are crushed, moved into oak fermenters and macerated for over 40 days with pump-overs twice a week. Ripe and raisined, milk chocolate, toasted nut and leather nose. Full bodied with great replays, sweet centred. Long fruit and nut finish. 4/5
