Medium Acid (IMO maybe not quite enough). Inviting, rich and crowd pleasing. but here's the thing: IMO it's just way too big/rich/thick/heavy. Overpowers food; and frankly gets like work to drink. Tasting notes Dark red. Blackberry jam, black pepper, black olive tapenade, grapefruit pith, bacon fat, and milk chocolate. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, but with an extremely rich and flavorful mid-palate. Tons of ripe dark and red fruits with saturated concentration. The tannins are fine, and acid presentation here is outstanding. The wine finishes long with notes of charcuterie, citrus peel, and oak spice. Drink now or in the next 15 years.

Very fragrant. Nice tannins with notes of blackberries and black cherries. Nice peppery finish.

Tasted okay. Really heavy and dark for a syrah and not a lot of flavors or aromas.
