Fantastic wine to open the evening with when I was asked for a light red. Doing perfectly well, as expected. Not sure what was up with the prior bottle.

Same note as previous: Returning to this wine two years after our first bottle, the puckering tartness is more pronounced--lots of cranberry now. Served slightly chilled, as the winemaker recommends.

Returning to this wine two years after our first bottle, the puckering tartness is more pronounced--lots of cranberry now. Served slightly chilled, as the winemaker recommends, it's still a fine summer sipper, with enough fruit and bite to balance a salad with smoked salmon.

Didn't much resemble the prior bottle - a very odd occurrence for one of Larry's wines! This one seemed rather oxidized, which is probably the strangest possible thing that can happen with these screwcaps.

Translucent dark red. Raspberry and cola nose. Light to medium bodied, tart cherries, cranberries, a bit of spice, no discernable tannins, and a long sour finish. Not made in a style I enjoyed, but would be a good picnic wine.

This does not need much if any air time. And it needs to be drank with a bit of a chill IMO. Popped and poured with a glass decant. Its light such that you can see your hand through Ruby. The nose is sweet and sour cherry, touches of cranberry. Smells tart. Guess what? It is tart. The fruit is as advertised, light and bright, lower side of medium acidity and completely void of any tannic structure. It lives and …

Delicious, quaffable, and very much like a lighter Rhone made in the "crunchy" style.

Tasty juice, worked on a hot day. Loads of fresh acidity, car nchy black fruit, and with a slight chill, made a steak dinner work.

A bright blast of fun--40% Cinsault, 40% Grenache and 20% Carignane. Served slightly chilled, as the winemaker recommends, it's a fine summer sipper, with enough fruit and bite to stand up to cheese, tinned sardines.

Fun, refreshing quaff, like a love child of Beaujolais and Chinon. This doesnt quite have the aromatic complexity of the last 2 years of aberration, and is a bit dilute on the palate. Perhaps the first Tercero wine that hasnt just knocked my socks off.

Bright red fruit, minimal tannins. Refreshing and light. Day 2, fruit is building, becoming very Sangria-like. A very different but pleasant wine.

Similar to a Beaujolais but there is a sourness that you dont typically find. Its an interesting and unusual blend for sure. Appearance - a bit cloudy ruby. Medium minus. Nose - medium plus very ripe red fruits. Plums, raspberry, strawberry. Stemmy. Sweet. With air there is an earthiness that comes through. The wine does better with air time. Palate - very vibrant on palate. It has opened a bit with air and is now coming into itself. Initially I …

per label: 40% cinsault, 40% Grenache, 20% carignane Whole cluster fermented. Aged together in stainless steel for ~4 months prior to bottling. 12% abv. Vivid transparent violet. Nose candied fruit with hint of banana, a watermelon note. Palate light bodied, red fruits with an earthy note, some orange peel. Fun, interesting and refreshing with a chill. Very nice

Fennel notes. Enjoyable, but preferred the '18 Poggio di Bortolone Vittoria Frappato from the same tasting

An interesting wine. Somewhere between a very dark, dry Rose and a Beaujolais (but different grapes). First night we served this chilled and that doesn't work for us. Better near room temperature the second night. Still not our style though others may lover this.
