Greeted with a varietally correct bouquet the wine leads into a fully mature medium bodied cabernet, exhibiting all of those characteristics. Shows excellent balance with a lighter finish. The wine goes well with lighter bodied entrees or by itself. Not a massive wine, just a very pleasant wine to drink. Nothing wrong with the wine except that it is not really to my taste. It is dark colored, no sign of age. Nose not bad dark fruit. But it is really too strong and in your face. There is a good balance of alcohol to tanin but it overpowers the fruit which is still there

A very nice, restrained, and elegant cab for under $25. Made with grapes from the cool Alexander Valley, this wine's currant, licorice, and herbal aromas and flavors may be dry and austere at present, but they are quite lovely if you prefer this style of cab to those that are jammy and rich. Excellent with steak and blue cheese!

I say to whomever brought me this "gift": pray bring only yourself to my next party and leave this foul swill at home. Hardly worthy of being called a Cabernet Sauvignon, I get a distinct smell of 409 and soiled cat litter, though supported by decent ripe blackberries. The taste is overwhelmingly dry, as if I were drinking sand made out of crystallized blandness and bitter fruits. I'll give this wine an 82, only because it's clear that the winemakers …

Based on this bottle, may intergrate with time, however I believe the licorice flavors will dominate in the long run.

Really a decent little Sonoma cab and a great QPR at this price point. Enjoyed yesterday afternoon with friends at a cook-out. Dark purple, medium bodied, soft and well balanced for such a relatively young wine. Nose of dark plum, blueberry and some mocha. Primary flavors included dark stone fruit and black pepper. This would be a good every day drinker and I do recommend this.
