Klokkeklar syrefrisk moselvin. Duft av grønn og gul frukt med noe tropiske innslag. Mineralsk på smak med en lang salt utgang. (93).

Love it or leave it. In my case the former. Still a light, slightly greenish colour. A very youthful nose, citric and rocky. In the mouth the wine is very racy with a downright piercing acidity, it's fresh and airy like a mountainspring, has some pleasant bitters akin to tonic water and it's bone-dry with flavours of citrus, balm, rocks and herbs. Terroir and the cool vintage are centerstage here. It's my first Max Kilburg and I don't want to …

This wine is was fine, some apple notes, kind of a shimmering almost metallic (in a good way) sheen, but no petrol, not too focused or mineral driven.. To me the premium for Haart’s wines from this vineyard is well worth it.

-- corked pulled approx. 45 min. before initial taste -- -- tasted blind over 2 days, alongside the 2021 Kilburg Piesporter Goldtropfchen trocken – -- this wine was labelled as “#6” in the tasting, and the Piesporter Goldtropfchen was labelled as “#4” -- NOSE: Day 1: smoky mineral – almost like grilled pork – perhaps slightly burnt popcorn is a more accurate descriptor here; more reserved than #4; hint of raw yellow onion; no petrol; I keep coming back to …

* Sadly, not very interesting. Lacks cut. Quite drinkable, but that's about it.

Veldig reduktiv, selv på dag to. Ganske stum. Men definitivt i en ren og mineralsk stil. I munn er den veldig slank. Har en svak fruktsødme og moden frukt, men ellers er dette veldig salt og crispy. Flott lengde. Fortjener i alle fall 5 år.

Lemon, lime and other citrus fruit on the nose, as well as some faint pear and green tones. The slender palate continues with the citric theme, adding more lemon and some grapefruit, as well as sharp '21 acidity. Long finish, tapering towards stony acids. Fresh and linear, having some common themes with Silvaners of the same vintage, but still very Riesling. The acidity might be too much for some, but for acids heads like me, this sings already now. Drink …

The wine equivalent of walking down the street on a hot sticky day when you serendipitously pass an automatic sliding door that blows a gust of air conditioning in your direction and you don't need to go in the store but you turn around to activate the automatic door another one or two times just for the air conditioning. This has the expected cool profile for dry riesling with lots of zest and rind elements to the lemon and melon …
