Surprisingly flavorful and balanced for an 8 year old white. Nice crispness and acidity without overpowering fruit. Good body that complimented an herbed chicken dish. I wish that I had more for thanksgiving!

I got this from my wine shop clearing out some older single bottles. Cellar tracker said drink dates 2014-2016 so I figured I may as well open and get rid of it. Not the first time but the date range was WAY off, 2020 and the wine was still VERY good. First taste was savory but still could taste the fruit, grassy kiwi. The best part has been the finish, very long and elegant reinforcing the grassiness. A very pleasant …

A highly unusual field blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Nascetta, and a tiny amount of Riesling. both grown together in the coolest part of a vineyard and then co-fermented together, originally as a test to see what white grape did the best, and then left alone. Bright citrus aromas, along with a textured sip. Overall, very refreshing and enjoyable.

Assemblage de Chardon 40%, Sauvignon blanc 30%, riesling remano 10% et Nascetta 10%. Citronné, frais. Pointe minérale. Belle texture. Beau vin d'apéro. **

Very nice. But wish I shared the consensus given this is a 10 wine with a 90 score. Would certainly buy it again as a very fine house Chardonnay, and a good Bordeaux substitute. But s little too thin for 90.

Medium yellow with green hues. Typical unoaked chardonnay nose with green apple, pear, stone fruit and citrus fruit. Medium-bodied with bright fruit, balancing acidity and a med+ aftertaste. Very versatile in its pairings and excellent value.

Citrussy herbal aromas. Bright lemon fruit on entry, real intensity with good depth of flavour on the middle. Has a real intensity, a little oily character and great acidity. The herby note returns on the finish. Very nice.

Mostly chardonnay with a dash of sauvignon blanc, nascetta (local langhe variety) and a dollop of riesling. Intriguing, chardonnay nose. Slightly oily texture, but flavoursome and shows good promise for next 2-4 years. Decanting helped bring things together.

I really enjoy this wine. It has an oily component to the weight but it's a lovely fresh drinking deck wine.

Interesting take on chardonnay. +1 for advice to decant and not to serve too cool - 14 to 16 deg c is good for this. I noted a bit of sulphur initially which blew off with the decant. Quite chablis-like, mineral with some white fruit. Good value at around £10

My last bottle of the '11 Dragon Chardonnay from Luigi Baudana. No notes. Served to the poker group. Always a crowd pleaser and provokes a discussion.

Brilliant pale yellow, pineapple, papaya, passion fruit with hints of citrus and nutty undertones, crisp and sweet on the attack with spicy vanilla, lemon and almond notes, finishes with green papaya, lees and some astringency

NC Cindy Tasting, June 2013 (Phredd's Humble Abode) : In the glass, this is very light yellow-green in color, and really quite viscous. The nose is very floral, with bright yellow flowers and a nice center of lemon. It also has a very nice lightness to it, with the distinct delicate scent of sugar cane. The palate, in contrast to the nose, is quite full and with a substantial creaminess surrounding a bright pineapple backbone. Some detected oak, but I …

Wonderful, unconventional Chardonnay from Italy. No formal notes. Served at Rich's graduation luncheon. Pared well with spicy Jamaican food.
