Dark berry fruit with some faint sandalwood and spice elements. Well-balanced with clean acid. Faded over time. Tasted single-blind against an '04 Patrice Rion Chambolle-Musigny Les Cras and was the clear loser despite being a very nice wine.

Dundee Hills Tasting Event In Portland (Portland, OR) : Blackberries with some faint stems, and black earth shows on the palate. The wine has a soft touch with some great acidity showing through. Faint chocolate shows on the mid palate along with dark cherries and raspberries. Some rhubarb flavors show on the finish. Everything lingers long and the acidity dries with a brilliant touch on the finish. Quite tasty!
