Mia Luce, Syrah & Stems, 2016: Wow. I haven’t been impressed like that with an Israeli red in a long time. Dark garnet towards royal purple in color. On the nose, blackberries, raspberries, eucalyptus, as well as hints of violets, smoke and black pepper. Medium to full-bodied, with fine concentration yet not overly extracted, making for an elegant mouthfeel.
