Michele Mascarello & Figli Dolcetto d'Alba

Produced by M. Mascarello e figli in La Morra, not to be confused with either Bartolo or Giuseppe. Bright red with a hint of brown; slightly volatile, red fruit, a certain vinosity, a hint of nuts and some freshness; light, dry but supple, nice fruit, hint of almond; adequate length. Pleasant but lacks complexity.
