Un nez de cerises sucrées, d'épices du chêne, de tabac, de vieux cuir... Souple, sec, mi-corsé, rond avec une acidité fraiche. Son fruit en bouche est plutôt discret mais tout de même savoureux avec ses épices. Une finale moyenne sans éclat. Prêt à boire. Délicieux avec une spaghetti bolognaise. 90+

Decanted for 2 hours. A delightful bottle, with aromas of sour cherry, cedar, leather and cigar. Tannins are well integrated already, with medium+ but balanced acidity. Plenty of complexity and a medium finish. Excellent.

Echo the recent favorable tasting notes below. Had with home made mushroom and sausage pizzas which was good, but the mouthful of crunchy red fruit that came out after dinner (with 3+ hours of air) is what left the favorable impression in my mind. Would buy again if find on sale. Wife liked as well.

From a 375 ml bottle. Decanted 2 hours and drank over 3 hours. The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like plum, cherry, balsamic notes and alcohol. It tastes like cherry and plum: the fruit is still vibrant here. The body is medium/full. The wine has a very good tannic structure. A modern and varietally accurate rendition of Sangiovese. Direct aromas of black cherry, cedar, and baking spice. Full bodied, concentrated in red and black fruits, a splash of licorice. Silky, polished mid palate that flows into a lengthy finish of ripe fruit and dried herbs. Fine tannins, subtle petrol inner aromas. Drink or hold. A beautiful expression of Sangiovese. Suave and Sophisticated. Impeccable balance , graceful and so light on its feet, great fruit selection . I was astonished that this was 14.5 ABV . Decanted for two hours and ready to drink now.
