Diamond Importers Greece Trip May 2025; 5/2/2025-5/11/2025 (Greece) : Gaia 2021 The Estate - all from Koutsi. Some seaside aromas.. med/+ garnet color, med/- tannin, chewy and fine-grained. Here I’m reminded of Dolcetto w/ its blue fruit framing.

Deep and opulent, the 2021 Gaia Estate unfolds with a layered bouquet of ripe blackberries, dark cherries, and wild strawberries, subtly framed by well-integrated oak. The palate is plush yet vibrant, with mouthwatering acidity and fine-grained tannins supporting the generous fruit. A thread of Mediterranean herbs—bay leaf, oregano—runs through, adding freshness and complexity. Rich, structured, and polished, this is a compelling expression of Agiorgitiko at its most refined.

Not super complex but a robust low tannin red that pairs well with rich food.

Decent greek red, with some tannin grip, making it suitable for barbecue.

By the glass. Aromas of wild strawberries macerated in black pepper. In the mouth it has an okay performance. Medium-bodied wine with a short finish and a delicious aftertaste. Very young Rioja-like. Por copas. Aromas de fresas silvestres maceradas en pimienta negra. En boca tiene un buen rendimiento. Vino de cuerpo medio con un final corto y un delicioso regusto. Muy riojano.
