More integrated than before. Some bitter/sour notes spoiled the overall experience. Better with food.

Wait another year, based on this bottle. (or maybe on our senses today!) Decent wine that went better with food -- tonight eggplant, broccoli rabe, and pasta. Just seems a bit unbalanced. A little tartness that went away with the dinner.

Dinner with D&M. Really refined for a BdA. Red and blue fruits emerging against a solid but non-intrusive tannic backbone. In it's drinking window.

Interesting nose for a wine at this price point. I generally like acidic and savory wines, but this is a bit thin and "grapey".

Aromas of fruit and spice lead to lots of red cherries and redcurrants on the palate, then a touch of cocoa and vanilla, and soft tannjns, with a long fresh sea buckthorn finish.

Loving this wine! Great aromas of ripe dark and red cherry fruit and a bit of dust. The flavours are excellent, lots of rich cherry fruit, decent acidity and no discernible tannins. Super smooth and rounded, not as lean as some Barbera's I have drunk. £11 at Majestic and worth every penny.
