Very drinkable. Purchased from TJs.

The age of this wine is showing through in a very pleasant way on the nose. Smoked strawberries, with a lot of red fruit (raspberry, some red currant), leather, damp curtains, coffee, and some savoury qualities. On the palate the fruit is still there, mostly cherry, raspberry, some plum, with mocha, savoury characteristics, and some earth. Acidity very bright, but the finish a bit disappointingly short. Still, good overall structure, but should be drunk now. Very good with chorizo based …

Pleasantly surprised by this wine. PnP it is ready to go right away. Nice nose with red berries, light toast, a little vanilla. The mouth feel is soft and round, with light-med finish. The red fruits and mocha coat the palate, with a nice level a acid to give it structure. I think this wine is at it's peak, a great weekday wine.

Nice, but not amazing. For $10, it's a good Tuesday night wine.

An utter disappointment. Flat, tannic, no body or complexity. Hard to discern what flavors are present. Maybe some mineral, sort of an unripe mashed berries. Not a very good wine, even for the price. I tend to like Miguel Torres wines, but certainly not this one. Would not purchase again.

Fruit and a hint of funk on both the nose and palate. Cherries and herbs in particular. Medium-bodied with a pleasant midpalate, though the finish is somewhat astringent.

I first had this wine 2 1/2 years ago and it is doing much better now. Aromas and flavors of cherry and cranberry. Dry tannins provide a nice grip on the finish.

Ditto ... Aussi bonne que la première mais 30 minutes de carafe aurait adouci le premier verre ...

App: Dark purple Aroma: Minerals, licorice, oak and dark fruit Full bodied and concentrated. Good balance. Overwhelming oak on palate Medium length with a strong touch of cocoa The oak need to be more integrated. Two-three more years might help.

Cherry and spice are the aromas and flavors I get. Mild tannins on the finish. Good wine, better than most at $10. ($10)

Previous bottle must have either been a bad bottle or one suffering from bottle shock because I did not wait after delivery. This bottle was a different story. Decanted for 2 hours. Really red in color. A little funkiness at first on the nose, but very good red fruit with some old world. Very bright and fresh taste. Nice balance and a medium body. Good value.

Not so good. Even after a day of decanting. Dried cherry, muted sandal wood, and unexpressive leather- not a wine to search out.

Nous avons adoré ce vin : il était bien meilleur avec les fromages qu'avec le porc en sauce à la crème aux pommes. Il a intérêt à respirer un peu. Très bonne qualité-prix! The wine looks Ruby colored. The legs are Medium. The body is Medium/Full. The wine finishes Medium.

Good solid, classic spanish red wine. The oak is not overpowering and does not mask the other flavors (mainly berries). Balanced and very smooth in the mouth, it can be easily drink by itself or with food.

Pretty complex wine for the price: spices, vanilla, wood, black fruits, smoke... You have to take the time to small all and every smells (if possible). Maybe it would be import to put it in the carafe for 30 mins to an hour. I certainly will benefit from a few more years in the cellar!

Very good, I recall the '05 being better, but this was good nonetheless - Dark, well concentrated with a nose of plum, cedar, cherry, spice and vanilla, young, complexity to come, good balance, sweet, sour, smooth on the palate with very good length, nice (89 Points).

A lot of ripe plum fruit; very easy to drink, but just enough tannins and secondary flavors to keep things interesting. The tinto fino shows through without a lot of oak in the way. This isn't a thought-provoking wine but it was a great sipper while cooking & went even better with our braised Spanish pork with olives. I'd buy again.

Almost poured this one down the drain when I opened up due to a strange metallic aftertaste. Luckily this blew off and the wine evolved into something pleasant, but not great. Guess I'll wait a while until I open the next bottle and keep my fingers crossed.
