Remarkably fresh for the age, reflecting its balance. Very nice.

Popped and poured, dark ruby, clear meniscus w/slight bricking. Forward nose of red berries, cherry cola, white pepper and a slightly feral, almost "sauvage" note. Moderate body, quenching acidity. On the palate, thoroughly CA Pinot and quite sumptuous at that, with a delightful core of fruit and spice notes plus a touch of smoke from toasted oak on the lengthy close. Although the tannins have certainly mellowed, they're still a bit chewy and slightly astringent. Really impressive showing for a …

This one wasn't as fresh as my bottle a few months back. One left that I'll drink soon and hope for an experience closer to the previous one.

Tasting really good right now !! In a great spot, at peak !! A perfect cork after over a decade in the bottle. Consumed this bottle over two days. This balanced wine showed well on both days. Deep ruby color with no oxidation, clarity good. Aromas of pomegranate and cranberry with a hint of baking spice. Flavors of black cherry, raspberry, and black tea with a hint of forest floor. This Pinot Noir has a medium to long finish. A …

This is actually my first time with this wine as i believe they only made it 07 - 09. Full disclosure, i was kinda expecting a 'pinot that tastes like it was made by a zin producer', but i was pleasantly surprised! Medium bodied with nice CA pinot characteristics - violets, black cherries, and baking spice. Pretty fresh and still juicy with ample acidity. Maybe just the SMALLEST hint of heat on the finish makes me think that this is …

Very lively. I don’t think there’s secondary fermentation going on but it’s almost frizzante. Maybe it’s just the acid which is pretty high. Still good but it’s on the ragged edge of being out of balance. Passive cellared since release

Go nose of dark cherries and spice. Medium body with a well balanced long finish.

Black cherry and Christmas spices. Toasty oak, ripe and lush. Obviously well made, as it's still very much alive at 9 yrs old, but this really is not my style of Pinot

Bedrock is better known for their syrah, zinfandel and various field blends, which are excellent. The 2009 Rebecca's pinot is also a very nice wine, naturally of a different style. Initially after opening it has a bit of sharpness and a bit young strawberry taste. After an hour of so of air it opens up and and softens the initial impression, and has a very pleasant balance.

Garnet color. Great nose of red fruit, spice and hints of soil. Medium+ palate, soft and integrated tannins with a slight acidic wild streak. Medium+ finish. Not as extracted as one would expect from California, which is good. Great wine and in a good place to drink.

Rich pinot, but not awkwardly big. Fruit is still in a good spot. Black cherry, darker fruits. Really enjoyed this. Wish I had more than the one bottle.

PnP. Continue to enjoy this very much. My thoughts similar after many years. Don't understand the notes that said it is over the hill as I think it is in a perfect place.

I am not a pinot fan usually, and this did everything possible to convert me....its a different style of pinot that works wonderfully, shame I only had a single bottle!

Nose was almost Syrah-like with smoky earthy meaty notes. Upon opening the wine had some bright cali pinot fruit still evident on the palate but definitely showing it's age with the secondary notes. The brighter fruit quickly faded and what was left didn't have a lot of character. It was a bit hot and acidic. Drink soon as this is at the end of its window.

Over-ripe. A more substantial body than a pinot typical of the region. A medicinal note was the most noticeable taste characteristic, otherwise the nose and taste were not distinctive (not what I'm accustomed to with Bedrock wines). The bottle wasn't corked, just past its prime. When I bought this wine, I knew it was an outside of the box production compared to what Bedrock normally produces.

Dark ruby color with lingering legs, nose full of baking spices and dark fruits, palate with an initial caramel note, some vanilla/oak, light cinnamon, black cherries, medium acidity. So nice, really great depth, truly enjoyable to drink. Reminds me of how Bedrock can be so good, sadly they don't make Pinot anymore, at least not from this vineyard. At least 93 pts. Has some life yet, think it can age for some time longer

A bit better than my last bottle, but still a bit oversized for my tastes in Pinot Noir. Ripe, round and full of darker fruits, like plums and cassis. A bit of heat, but not to the point of distraction. Enjoyable, if a bit atypical.

From memory, a nice wine in the typical Bedrock style: lots of fruit, with good balancing acid. I don't recall getting much varietal character from it, but then I was enjoying dinner with friends and not really paying attention. Probably about an 89.

Very light bouquet, light red color, with dense strawberry and mixed red & black berry fruit flavors. Integrated tannins, balanced overall with a medium length pleasant finish. I thought I picked up an unusual orange zest note in the aromas and on the palate but my wife did not agree. Overall an interesting wine.

The strawberry notes are still there a little on the nose. Definitely bigger, more Syrah like as some posters noted. Earthiness to this that I enjoy. Wouldn't have guessed Russian River for this one. Seems like it still has some time if others are holding.

This was disappointing. Perhaps it is just past it's prime. Minimal nose and complexity.

Ripe, rich and round with plums, cherries, spices and cola notes. Not sure what the alcohol level is, but I did detect a bit of alcoholic heat. Not sure this is my style of Pinot, as it seems over-sized for me. Not rated.

I am guessing this bottle is at its peak. Drink it now. Full mouth of black cherry with just a touch of mixed herb. Bought this as a "library" wine so the winery has stored it for me for the last five years or more which makes it a decent QPR. Wish other wineries would do the same, with my limited storage. Don't think it needs any decanting and is consistent over three days.

Way too ripe to my palate. Decanting over several hours did not help to restore the balance. Poor value.

liked this more yesterday than a year ago. it's bigger than my usual preference for pinot (09 warm year), but has nice varietal definition, round red fruit, and sufficient acid to fall squarely into the "medium" category I enjoy for pinots.

A nice surprise. More earth-hay-mushroom 'Burgundian' elements with fruit that was more subtle than many RRV pinots. Quite a different style from what I've come to expect from Morgan. Recommend drinking in the next 2 or so years - this one drank far better than previous bottles, why risk missing the window?
