Light translucent garnet with a watery rim. Very expressive nose. Fair bit of volatile acidity on the nose with a bit of turpentine character, bright cherries and strawberry preserves, with minty herbal hints. Slightly fruit-sweet in the mouth, with a finish that is just a bit short, with low acid. A little baking spice emerging with time in the glass. Tannins imperceptible. Rustic and enjoyable.
