Domaine Pierre Gelin Fixin

Beautiful nose of black cherries, herbal shadings and spice box. Juicy palate with bright acid and perfectly resolved tannin. This has more black cherry and berry as well as hints of rosemary and eucalyptus. This is in a fantastic spot right now and I doubt it will evolve from here, so drink up! Drink NOW-2025 91 df 9.2

Delicious, very classic. Nice fruit and earth with a touch of bret.

Great bottle. Opened immediately.

Drank over two days. Rich red fruit, savory, with muted acidity in the beginning. Over time became more delicate, still quite rich, but with better acidic balance. Grippier tannin than I remembered (this eased up the next day). Seemed a bit drier than the one that I had earlier. Quite enjoyable, but I have better memories of the earlier bottle.

Somehow tighter and not as good as the last bottle. Still good value.

Good acidity, great food wine

Pretty nose of Spring flowers, cherry cola and spice. Medium bodied with goof acidity and decent quality of tannin. Best with food, this is a fine bottle of everyday drinking wine if unexceptional. Drink 2017-2020+ 87

Didn't keep any notes. But Was way better than a lot of other village levels at a higher price point. Was light on its feet out of the bottle, gained weight and some complexity over the next 30 minutes. Lost some of the wow factor after the first 2-3 hours.
