A perfect Thanksgiving pairing. This is a pretty cranberry rose', with a creamy mousse. The nose is clean, youthful, simple, and medium intensity, with tart red fruit aromas. The Vecchia Modena is the best Lambrusco I have tasted. This may sound like dubious praise but Lambruscos I've tasted in the past have been sparkling red wine which has never worked for me. The Vecchia Modena Premium is a bright cranberry color with a striking nose of cranberry and just a whisper of soft strawberry. Pairs well with peach, prosciutto, pistachio and arugula salad with fig vinaigrette. Definitely can taste tart red cherries.

RUSSK at Vinitaly in Verona. This style with Lambrusco di Sorbara, is a bit too tart for me. And I like more acid wines. 90-.

Not everyone was enthused by this wine. Very nice with antipasti (salami, prosciutto, etc).

Similar to a darker rose' in color with strawberry nose. Small bubbles that dissipate fairly quickly leaving a light, dry, crisp wine with some acidity and a touch of tannins. Sour cherry finish. Nice aperitif and a fun wine.

Aromas of cranberry, raspberry and balsamic notes. Dry, but very fruit forward with flavors of red berries and a herbal finish.

Tart, minerality, heavily pomegranate all over. Nice, good value, very refreshing.
